Coach

There’s nothing special about a high school basketball team with a 4-17 record… unless there is.

Coach is the story of a group of young men whose lives were forever positively changed through the influence of their coach. Van Henry came to Western High School in the small southern Ohio town of Latham in 1987 to lead the Indian team. Prior to his arrival, Western had suffered through several disappointing seasons, culminating in a winless 1987 campaign.

Van was an outsider and new to the community. But he was determined to make a positive impact on the school, the community and especially those who played for him. Produced by Aric Films, in collaboration with Digital Films 21st Century Productions, Coach is a story about kinship, brotherhood and how a leader’s influence lingers throughout life.

The Brush

The Brush is a simple tale, featuring voice overs from Chloe Grooms, Rafa Piatigorsky and Alicia Holdren, of how life moves along.

Goddaughter

Stephanie is a vibrant woman in her 30's who lost her father in an attack when he was deployed oversees. Her father's best friend and fellow soldier, Jay, has been her godfather since birth and has become her primary source of advice and comfort. On the anniversary of her father's death, which happens to be Jay's birthday, Steph travels to NYC to visit. Stephanie coaxes Jay into an afternoon of exercising and during a break, she seeks out Jay's advice on her dating life. She ends up getting a deep look into Jay's feelings and life that she didn't expect.

Enough

'Enough' is a short film starring Aric Grooms detailing an agonizing journey realizing that your behaviors can hurt those you love, impact your performance and jeopardize your dreams and hopes. Directed by Louis Kent and featuring Ayelet Porzecanski, Paige Michelet, Robert Punchur, Neko White and Holland Smith, this light-hearted short is a must see for anyone struggling with tough decisions.

Directed by Aric Grooms, Comedian President stars award winning impressionist Jason Scoop and Madison Malloy.
